I had installed these on my 2002 VL800. They did require some grinding to allow the pegs to sit level. The peg itself had to be taken down about 1/8 to 1/4 inch to allow the floorboard to sit in a proper place.So far, they are 100% better in my opinion than pegs.Also tried on my 2006 VTX1300 before grinding down the material on the peg and they fit perfect. Gonna have to pick up a second set for it.

I bought these but were not a fit for my VL800. I returned it for another one that didn't quite fit either. These would have been more comfortable if they could be installed.
