I purchased this to hold my water pump in place in order to remove the fan clutch on my 2006 Ram. I had issue after issue until I purchased this... Great price, heavy duty and a great tool!

Just be aware that one can't use it to lock a variator on a 50cc setup because, unlike the 150cc, it does not have places to insert the prongs on the face of the variator. It worked perfectly on the clutch, though. I'm not getting the comments where people say the tool seems flimsy. Other than making it out of titanium I'm not sure how they could have made it stronger. Simple, sturdy, inexpensive, works as described, and was delivered quickly. Option B, which includes a flywheel removal tool, is an even better bargain for very little added cost. Very pleased.

It definitely felt strong and sturdy, but after hours and hours of trying to get the clutch of my scooter this tool did not hold up, it bent up kinda bad and kept slipping off because of the bent tool. Maybe I was too aggressive, I didn't use an impact wrench with it I strictly had hand tools, so maybe for someone else this tool would work. However when the tool bent up and was no longer usable( the same day I got it) I contacted the seller and explained to them how this tool failed for me and within the same day they made it right. So the tool didn't work out for me, maybe it will for u but if not, then this seller will actually do what they can to help, u can't lose. They get 5 stars from me for their outstanding customer service

No need to try workarounds, which could damage your engine. Just pick up this inexpensive tool, and get the job done right. With this tool I was able to replace my water pump with not too much hassle. It's all metal, I'm sure it will last a lifetime.

It has a rough finish to it, but who cares---no sharp edges or anything. It's just the one bolt, so it's very simple. It is extremely high quality, especially given the price. It should hold most pulleys in place.
