Put it on a 212 predator worked right out of the box had to buy to different bolts from Lowes to install it but was no big deal at all quick acceleration that keeps going till I get nervous
After trying couple of other tools which they didn't work finally this one was able to hold down the water pump pulley while I was able to remove the fan clutch , the adjustment on the tool is great ! *****
Super easy install, I believe this carb works with most horizontal engines. Only gripe is that it did not come with a jet kit and I dislike the A/F screw location, you have to really be crafty to adjust it on the bike. Would recommend installing an extension like racers do for easy adjustment. Other than that this is hands-down the easiest carb to take care of and the response is great. Can’t tell if it’s a fake or legit mikuni, all the jets work!
There is definitely a technique to installing, but I was able to get the covers cut to length and installed on my CRF150RB and the rear wheel of my CRF450R in about two hrs....that’s including the time to figure out best way to install. Pretty easy once you get the technique down...open one end slightly and put over spoke, then hold with you thumb/finger and start sliding it down towards the wheels hub while you thumb guides the cover onto the spoke. Quality is as expected and color matches well to OEM Honda red. We will see how they hold up to some MX tracks/ trails...prob good not to hit them hard with pressure washer either when washing bike...but we will see!
This wrench is not pretty but it's color temperature says it is Well heat treated. It should handle the same function for many years and still be whole just a little rust and grey but 100% serviceable
Just used this to help a buddy dial in the settings on a Ford 8 differential. Tool worked just fine. 40 years as a professional auto and then aircraft mechanic have given me the ability to tell good from poor tools. This one works just fine. If you need an adjustable pin type spanner wrench, this is a winner.
Worked perfect. Having the stabilizing screw really helps. You don't have to hold your grip just holding against the pressure to tighten. Small studs worked for the clutch plates and housing and the larger studs fit the one way clutch housing, torqued to 40lbs. Easy to do, no slipping or knuckle bustin! 2014 CRF110
